Psychotherapy
You're self-aware, but something keeps you stuck in the same painful patterns. Maybe you often feel "too much" or "too little." Perhaps standard treatments haven't worked or past therapists haven't understood the complexity of your experience. Let's figure this out together.

My Approach to Therapy
.jpg)
I pull from science-backed methods to identify what's blocking progress, and create personalized approaches that address root causes, not just the symptoms.

I focus on big feelers and deep thinkers, and the struggles that often coincide with that (trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD, exploration of identity and gender diversity, and self-sabotaging behaviors).
What I Believe About Therapy
Healing isn't linear.
Some weeks will feel like huge break throughs. Others will feel like you're back at square one. That's normal, and we'll work through it together.
You're the expert on you and your own life.
I bring clinical expertise, but you know yourself better than anyone. Good therapy is collaborative, not prescriptive.
All parts of your identity matter.
Your gender identity, sexual orientation, neurodivergence, cultural background, and lived experiences shape who you are. I try to hold space for all of it.
Change takes courage.
If you're here, you've already taken a brave step. My priority is to meet that courage with compassion, expertise, and a genuine commitment to your wellbeing.

What to Expect
I serve those who are ready to invest in their healing and growth. My clients often describe themselves as highly sensitive, deeply thoughtful individuals who feel things intensely and struggle to find the right support.

Step 1: Set Up a Consult. You can schedule a 15-minute phone consultation, where we'll touch base about what kind of therapist / therapy approaches you're looking for, what issues you would like support with, and the basics around scheduling, billing, and the like. It will help you and I determine if we would be a good fit.

Step 2: Schedule Intake and Complete Opening Documents. If you and I determine it seems like a potentially good fit, we'll schedule an intake session and I'll send you opening documentation that need to be completed at least 48 hours ahead of time. I believe in informed consent, and this allows that to happen.

Step 3: Attend Your Intake Session. If you chose a virtual session, you will be sent a link. If you chose in-person, you'll head for my office in Providence, RI. It will ideally feel like a friendly conversation, where I can gather lots of information to better understand you, your life, and what you would like support with.
